Research Analyst – Market Research and Consultancy Projects

The Research Analyst will be principally responsible for collecting and interpreting data (on the basis of desk research and other primary sources such as interviews and sample studies, etc.), and formulating industry/ sector/ business need reports. To accomplish this task, the Market Research Analyst will work with the specific manager to understand, define and document the business object/ need of the client. The Market Research Analyst will have to use qualitative and quantitative research techniques to  interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations.

Report to: Project Manager

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document the business objectives and a roll out plan in the given timeline.
  • Designing or assisting in the development of questionnaires and moderator guides to ensure the necessary data is captured
  • Conducting in-depth market research using traditional and advanced methods. Establishing research methodology and design formats for data gathering - such as surveys, questionnaires, telephonic interviews etc. to evaluate existing and potential product and service markets. 
  • Drafting management reports containing actionable recommendations that are related/non-related to the prior subject knowledge.
  • Making presentations - answering questions and queries generated by the client/ business' need.
  • Assistance in providing market insight, industry trends, industry statistics, competitive analysis, forecasts and other relevant information to businesses in the form of syndicated or customized research.

    Necessary Skills:

  • Experience in writing informational articles, whitepapers, industry reports and tutorials related to your area of expertise. Proficiency in writing reports and graphic illustrations of findings.
  • Ability to identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales. Gather data on competitors and analyze prices, sales and methods of marketing and distribution.
  • Detail oriented, articulate, goal-oriented, high level of professionalism and must be exceptionally organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences

  • Intern

    The Intern is responsible for overall sales and marketing support to the various projects and should assist in building IT environment (CRM, CMS (.net), server set-up, etc). Additionally, the intern will be assisting colleagues where necessary with business development and consultancy activities. This includes exposure to the full lead-to-sales conversion cycle: lead generation, sales follow-up, assisting in preparing quotations, proposals, negotiations, etc. Within projects we expect the intern to support with market research (desk and field research), preparing (consultancy) reports, and other related activities. The intern’s job also includes ensuring that the sales, marketing and consultancy efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in general, product specific marketing activities such as: cold calling, email marketing and other business development activities of company’s new focus area’s (biotech/pharma, fire and safety, food and beverages)
  • Working knowledge of MS office is mandatory – MS word, PowerPoint
  • Article/ report writing skills
  • Verbal communication – client call handling, follow up mails etc (Support all activities within the lead-to-sales conversion cycle, among others sales lead generation, follow-up and writing of proposals/quotations)
  • Web surfing and productive results (Assist in consultancy projects by assisting with desk and field research)
  • Integrate CRM, CMS, collaboration-software, exchange server and other IT applications.

    Assistant Product Manager (Assistant Business Development Executive) Medical Goods/Products:

    The Assistant Product Manager is responsible for product planning, product marketing and the setting-up and management of a distribution network within the medical sector (capital goods and consumables). This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working close with our partners (manufacturers, dealers, distributors) to initiate and continuously stimulate sales. Together we will set targets to ensure revenue and marketing objectives are met. The Assistant Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

  • Assisting in setting-up and managing distribution networks within the medical sector.
